Moment is what I’m building now: cameras for physical spaces where the footage belongs to the people in it. A camera captures your session, recognizes you, and the video lands in decentralized storage you own — with the session itself settled on Solana instead of in someone else’s database.

I’ve built it end-to-end as the sole developer: React/TypeScript frontend, Node/Express backend with Socket.IO for real-time events, Anchor/Rust programs on Solana, and the pipeline that moves video from edge device to viewer — WebRTC and Livepeer for streaming, InsightFace for recognition, Cloudflare Tunnels for secure device access. Choosing the storage layer became its own research project, storage-arena.

The thesis behind it lives in more physical and more social: crypto’s unclaimed ground isn’t better feeds — it’s turning the physical spaces we move through into social data that users actually own.
